Sundance Brave Horse Necklace

I just created this necklace and it turned out amazing! I love the blue color of the turquoise and to give it a pop of color I added red spiny oyster beads and deep red coral beads. The running horse pendant is sterling silver and the back reads "The Best Hearts Are Ever The Bravest".

Fall Artisan Handcrafted Gemstone Leaf Necklace

Are the leaves falling where you live? Just this morning I trampled through piles and piles of fallen leaves. Lining the streets of my small town are the most gorgeous leaves freshly fallen in colors of orange, brown, and yellows. I was inspired by these colors and created this new necklace called "Fallen Leaves". The crystal quartz gemstones are stunning and I love the interesting irregular shapes.

Silk Ribbon Pendant Necklace

I just love this new necklace! A soft and comfortable hand-dyed silk ribbon featuring artisan sterling slider beads and flower focal pendant. The ribbon colors are rich of reds, purples, tans-browns-golds, grays, and black tones. The ribbon measures approximately 35 inches in length and 1/2 inch in width. The ends of the ribbon are sewn to a point and has adjustable ties.

I have to say that it is easy for me to create Fall jewelry because of my love for Fall colors. Whenever I sit down to create a new piece of jewelry my eyes immediately jump to the brown, yellow, and orange gemstones. But let's not forget my favorite of all....turquoise. This new bracelet called "The Earth Speaks" is one of my all time favorite designs. I have incorporated so much of myself into this piece. Larimar ~ Atlantis Stone ~ Jewelry

Larimar, also called Atlantis Stone, is a variety of the pectolite found only in a small inaccessible region in the Dominican Republic. When properly shaped, cut, and polished, larimar produces a brilliant turquoise glow, which adds to its splendor. Larimar is a rare gemstone that is found in an inaccessible, mountainous, volcanic region of the Dominican Republic that overlooks the Caribbean Sea. Dominicans have long been aware of this wonderful stone, which they have been using in jewelry for centuries, but it was not until 1974 when larimar received it's respect and recognition. Larimar is currently one of the hottest new gemstones and in high demand. It's popularity is attributed to the implausible Caribbean blue color and it's rarity.

The Larimar stone comes in a wide variety of colors ranging from gentle greens to the deepest blue. It has been called the gemstone of the Caribbean, not only because of the location it is found, but also because of the colors, which mimic perfectly the variations of color of the Caribbean Sea. The color variation and patterning (a result of the cooling effect during crystallization) are what make the stone so unique and alluring.

I'm often asked if the jewelry pieces offered on my website can be adjusted in size. The answer is yes, the majority of the jewelry on my website can be re-sized so please send me an email and let me know what size you would like and I will be happy to work with you to make the size adjustment. Also, many of the pieces on my website can be made using 14kt. gold fill or sterling silver. So please don't hesitate to request a change if the jewelry piece you like is not in the metal you prefer.
